What We Do
- Each spring, we invite a tenth grade "ambassador" from every public and private high school to participate in a 4-day leadership seminar held at the University of Southern Maine campus in Gram.- MYL also holds statewide One-Day seminars that are 100% student-led which mentor and teach leadership skills to their peers and promote community service. - All MYL events are provided at no cost to the student, parent or school, ever.- MYL is an all-volunteer organization (non-profit 501-c) with no paid staff.- 98% of our spending goes directly to programs that benefit students. The remaining 2% goes to administrative costs.- All MYL programs are paid for through the generous support from individuals and businesses across Maine.
